Is OMF recommended in in container architecture ?

edited Apr 30, 2019 2:49PM in Database Administration (MOSC) 9 commentsAnswered ✓

I am trying to decide if I should be using OMF with container architecture as a "best practice".

I am reading doc

Multitenant best Practice and Known issues (Doc ID 1604135.1)

Which says

"2.Always use OMF pluggable Database when the Container is Pluggable :"

What does that actually mean ? I don't understand the statement -

containers are not pluggable , they are containers.

Is it a misprint?

Should it say something like  "Always use OMF pluggable database when the Container is using OMF" ?

Thanks.

Paul.
