Process of Coverting one-time item to standard Inv item

We can create one-time items when we know we are not going to transact more with such items. But as the purchases of such item continues there may be a situation when customer may want to have this item as a standard inventory item to plan and transact on regular basis. Is there any process to copy the One-time item to inventory and add missing inputs to make it inventory item?
