Inactive Session doesn't get purged

Hello,

Recently we upgraded from eBusiness R12.1.3 to R12.2.7, when a user log in and does launches forms etc. it opens session leaves them without closing it that doesn't get purged?  We are seeing this in R12.2.7 and trying to find out whether we miss anything?  It brings down the instance eventually.  Is there a System parameter we need to look into fixing? or any Profile option that we need explore? 

Any idea would be greatly appreciated.
