12cR2 multitenant dba_scheduler_global_attribute - default_timezone

Hi Guys,

Need your advise here.

I have 1 CDB with 1 PDB created.

The daily auto task maintenance job (eg: daily gather stats) run at 10pm GMT +8 which is normal.

However, for the PDB it actually start at 10pm UTC. (meaning that it will run at 6am GMT +8)

Upon investigation, i notice the below. The default_timezone for the scheduler is different between the CDB and PDB.

Is this a expected behavior?

I would expect that the PDB created would have similar scheduler defaullt_timezone as the CDB.

Anyone having the same issue like mine?
