Canceling Approval Request leaves Workflow Active

Hello,

We are testing GL AME and I have come across a problem when a Journal Preparer chooses to CANCEL a request that has timed out instead of resending it or sending to the approver's manager. When I check the Status Monitor for the transaction, it remains ACTIVE instead of changing to COMPLETE. The journal status is appropriately returned to a "Required" Approval Status but if the Preparer submits it for approval again, the process stalls while trying to get the approver and the LAUNCH_PARALLEL_APPROVAL subprocess doesn't run.

Has anyone come across this?
