convert traditional (non-container) database to container database without change the database name

Hello,

We have 12C RAC non-cdb database and the requirement is to convert traditional (non-container) database to container database without change the database name. I checked the Doc ID 2012448.1 but as per the given steps database name have to change and our requirement is to keep the same database name. The database need to be converted in the same grid. Please suggest the feasibility and recommended steps to meet the requirement.
