Fixed Asset Transfer Program Impact

Dear FA Gurus,

  Our Business doing Asset Transfer manually on demand basis.Now they have around 1000 Assets to be transferred  and they requested IT to move them all at one time using program.

   as i know like to upload through API FA_TRANSFER_PUB.DO_TRANSFER.

 

   Here my Question is, can we transfer Assets Across Books. we have 2 books and they have some assets to transfer from one book to another book.

    Any other impacts while doing it pragmatically.
