1099 MISC Reporting for State Withheld Amount
Hello,
Per the IRS website, it indicates that boxes 16-18 may be used by payers who are required to file paper copies of this form with a state tax department. Per the Information Notice Personal Income Tax 2017-01 issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (“DOR”) regarding Pennsylvania withholding requirement, they requires a copy of the Federal Form 1099-MISC with the state income and state tax withheld information (box 16 through 18) to be filed.
We understand that Oracle doesn't support the state reporting and we will need to do customization in order to populate box 16 through box 18. We need to know what's the best way how to populate these fields and what functional setups we can do to achieve this requirement. Please share your solutions how did you achieve this in your company and populated Box 16 through 18 in '1099 Form - Comma Delimited Format' standard report.
