Advanced Preferences - Category Code Values (*ALL)

We are using Advanced Preferences.  The preference we have setup uses two item category codes (SRP1, SRP2).  Is there a way to setup this preference so if I only need one specific value in SRP1 (SRP1='R'), that will work for all codes in SRP2?  Does anyone know a way to setup the preference to use ALL values in SRP2, with single values in SRP1?  Can something like this be done?
