PBCS/FCCS different app name in TEST and PROD

Hi all,

I have a client asking to have different app names in FCCS's TEST and PROD environments (e.g. they want the test app to be called CONS_TST and the prod one to be called CONS_PRD).

From my experience with on-premise Hyperion Planning, usually it is not a good practice to have different app names in TEST and PROD. How about Oracle Cloud EPM products?

In case we can't convince them to keep the same app name across environments, what side effects could we expect and for which artifacts?

And BTW, what's the maximum number of characters for an app name in PBCS/FCCS? Still 8 like in on-premise Hyperion Planning?
