update local repo to a specific version

I have a question, because it's a requirement .. I need a solution to update a local 11.3 repo to a specific version, but not the latest.

In our case, the local repo should have the patch level "entire@0.5.11-0.175.3.35.0.6.0" , but not higher.

So the current local repo is older, and it should update to entire@0.5.11-0.175.3.35.0.6.0

I read about pkgrecv. Could this be a tool to help me ?

Is this basically possible?
