EPM to EPM: Import Scripts

Hello everyone
if we are loading data from one app to another (or the same), how do we work with the IMPORT scripts?
For example:
Depending on the prefix of the source account (BS or PL), into Custom1 we need to import either C2 or C3 from the source applications
With files it is easy, with a simple check to decide which information to output
Thank you in advance. I tried looking, but Im either looking at the wrong places or am using the wrong search terms
