Assigning a new Dimension from the existing data
Hi Fellas,
Could you please shed some suggestions or logic to achieve the following scenario.
Scenario: Finance lock and send budgets at month level and allocation calculations to split the monthly figures to day level using percentages.
On top of the allocated data, adding additional dimension (ProdKEY) with a unique product key based on the combination of Shopid and nominal.
At present this is deriving from macros in excel
Data at source (April data)
After assigning additional Product Key
Logic used to derive this unique key is if Shopid starts with L and nominal
Example:
Shopid L0001 left 1st character is L and nominal is 50000 means L50000 assign a unique key 9222900521440625769
