Cloud DM bringing in additional dimension thats not there in PBCS

All,

I have a pbcs app and am setting it up as the target application in DM. This worked fine. But later I believe there was a PBCS migration with a wrong dimension which was then deleted from PBCS. Now an 'update metadata' in DM is bringing in this dimension which is not there in PBCS anymore. Due to this, 'refresh members' is failing. And Exports are failing. Has anyone faced this issue? I have tried deleting this dimension from the target application and then refresh members.. Still failing. Please advice.
