When attempting to apply a Coupon system throws error message "The list price 24.24 or selling price -1.2 for Item 78066 is negative and the profile ONT: Negative Pricing is set to 'N'

The list price of the Item 78066 is 24.24 & In addition to the coupon a discount allowance of $1.2 is provided to the customer. In this case the selling price becomes 23.04 (24.24 - 1.2) which is not a negative value.

When the selling price is not a negative value; why system throws the above error message and asks us to update the profile option ?

Since we are in 11.5.10 instance, Oracle does not provide SR support. So requesting the subject matter experts to help us in this situation.
