Siebel field encryption

Hi All,

We need to implement encryption on a custom BC field, and before we started with the development we wanted to see how the encryption works. So, we took "Yl Password" field in Contact BC and exposed it in UI and entered data in the field. Unfortunately, the encryption didn't work as we do not see encrypted value getting stored in database. Is there something we are missing? We do not know if the keyfile in bin directory needs to be updated. It would be really helpful if we can get detailed steps.
