LOV is not available on Updated Budget Journal Template,

I have updated the Budget Template by adding a new field , but after the addition of a new field in the layout cannot get lov on double clicking the cells. Whereas the ethe existing templates can pull the LOV on clicking the cells. Can you please tell what setup is required for this. I used Desktop Intergaration->define layout option
