Asset Management WorkCenter - Run Control not used in Reports/Processes

Am I getting the expected result?

The Run Control ID is not passed to the process when I create a custom link in the AM Work Center "Reports/Processes" section and input a Run Control ID.

See attached replication in unmodified PeopleSoft code. 

I assume that if I enter a Run Control ID, it should be passed to the process when I follow the link.
