Where to find the meaningful descriptions for Oracle database metrics.?

Where to find the meaningful descriptions for Oracle database metrics.?

For few of the metrics the metric unit helps but for few others its not.

For ex:CPU Usage Per Sec - This metric gives info on the CPU Utilized on by the database or by the host.

Do we have any documentation on how to interpret these metrics.?
