Ship confirm P4205 not released inventory On Hand, No record created in Cardex?

We have run a ship confirm P4205 program. Howevever, the program din't release on hand inventory nor its created a record in item ledger. Does anyone faced a similar problem before, if yes what is the best way to fix it? Does blank out SDSO02 field and Sales Updated run can fix it automatically?
