Is it possible to pack items after pick confirm using WMS/MSCA?

Hi,

We release sales order items grouped by item, pick the lines item by item and stage them into packaging station using WMS/MSCA. Then we need to pack the items grouped by customer and delivery again using WMS/MSCA.  WMS user guide says packing needs to be done during picking prior to pick confirm. Is there anyone who managed to pack sales order lines after pick confirm using WMS/MSCA?
