Would like workaround for MOS Doc "DBCA Template Creation Fails with VBO-1508 Numeric Overflow (Doc

Cause:

This issue was previously addressed in Bug 18284491 - EXADATA : VBO-1508 NUMERIC OVERFLOW WHEN CREATE TEMPLATE FROM DATABASE

which was closed as "Not Feasible to fix" on top of 11.2.

This is caused because of the huge sizes of the database files especially those in the bigfile tabelspaces.

Solution:

"The issue has been addressed in Bug 10208543 - CREATING TEMPLATE WITH DBCA FAILING WITH VBO-1508

in which it has been stated that this problem does not occur in 12c and is not feasible to fix in 11g ."

Understand this is an older version and not expecting a bug fix from Oracle however, I was wondering whether anyone has been able determine a workaround of this issue?
