Active Data Guard is not working

Hi
I have configured Oracle Data Guard physical standby and later open it as active data guard through broker. My expectation was every change in primary Database will be taken effect in standby database immediately. But unfortunately, when I an changing data in primary I cannot see any change in standby database. I have tried in many way to solve it but failed. Could anybody help me to solve/expalin the issue?
version : TNS for Linux: Version 12.2.0.1.0 - Production
DGMGRL> show database verbose stbydb;
Database - stbydb
Role: PHYSICAL STANDBY
Intended State: APPLY-ON
Transport Lag: 8 minutes 5 seconds (computed 19 seconds ago)
