Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Enabling Install Base in a Global Instance

Hi,

We have a single global Oracle EBS instance (version R12.1.3) used by AMER, EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions.

Oracle EBS is mostly used for Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Manufacture and Finance. Install Base and Service modules are not in use.

However, we are planning to use Install Base for a set of items (both new and existing items) in a specific region.

Is there any specific challenge we should be aware of to enable install base in such a global instance?
