eText Template for Check Writer XML

Has anyone implemented an eText Template with Check Writer XML to generate Check Writer output in a fixed width output. We are working on a new requirement

to generate a fixed width file output instead of the standard Check Writer XML output.  Has anyone accomplished this in R12.2.6?
