Search string is now always in the Filter text widget. How to get rid it for good?

Here is my question for metalink users:

I wanted to search my SRs for specific information and entered a short string. Found what I was looking for and now want to see all SRs but that search string is always in the

filter text widget. The only way to ger rid of it that i found is to click on "Closed" SRs and then uncheck "Closed" button.

how to clear filter string for good?
