OGG 12.3 Trailfile location

We have noticed that from OGG 12.3, the trail file location is automatically getting converted into absolute path ( For ex:/gg/GG12/dirdat instead of ./dirdat), with this we will have issues for future upgrades since the trail file will be pointing to old home.Only workaround will be to delete/add exttrails during upgrade which will be big task.

We tried using ALLOWOUTPUTDIR, but it is not helping..we have a case open ,but just wanted to check if anyone has hit same issue?
