Pick-up and Deliver Customer owned inventory on same shipment

We have a strange scenario were we have to pick up and delivery customer owned inventory on the same load and are having issues getting this to work properly.

We are using Credit orders to create the pick up and Sales Order to create the Delivery.

These items are serialized so we need to specify a specific item.

We do not allow negative or zero quantities to get Ship Confirmed and we do not relieve inventory until Sales Update is run.

We are having issues with this design to work for our distribution center.  We cannot Ship Confirm the Sales Order when it leaves because there is no inventory available.
