RAC node with different number of cores. Is it possible?

I have a 2 node cluster (g.i. 12.1.0.2) and I want to add a 3rd node. The first two nodes have 2 sockets quad core (8 cores), the new node has 2 socket exa core (12 cores). Is it possible? Is the cluster going to have issues?
