ORA-46952: standby database format mismatch for password file

Hello Experts,

DB: 12.2.0.1

ODA: X7-2HA

Primary: PRYDB

Physical Standby: STBDB

In a working environment after changing the sys password in primary, MRP is failing to start in standby with the below error:-

Errors in file /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/STBDB/STBDB1/trace/STBDB1_pr00_51014.trc:

ORA-46952: standby database format mismatch for password file '/u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/dbhome_1/dbs/orapwSTBDB'

MRP0: Background Media Recovery process shutdown (STBDB1)

STBDB1_pr00_51014.trc Trace file doesn't show any details except below:-

MRP0: Background Media Recovery terminated with error 46952

ORA-46952: standby database format mismatch for password file '/u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/dbhome_1/dbs/orapwSTBDB'
