DEPR CALC unexpectedly calculated depreciation for asset with no useful life

Hi -

Our accounting team is asking why depreciation was calculated for an asset that had no useful life. I've searched for an answer to this without luck. They sent me this schedule and I've verified in the back end that the numbers are correct:

We'd like to know if this is intended functionality. We have PeopleSoft 9.2 image 19 and People Tools 8.54.

Here are the steps that were taken according to what I've been able to piece together from the database:

Asset had asset type of Facility, profile ID of CIPCNV (non-depreciable converted CIP asset) no useful life, in service date of 9/22/15, depr conv Following Month, adjust conv Following Month
