Data not retrieved at attribute member though base member has data

We are having a BSO cube with Entity dimension (Base dimension) associated to the attribute dimension company. When retrieving data from smart view, For a particular entity alone the data is not getting displayed when the associated attribute (049) is chosen. When the attribute dimension is removed from the sheet, data is getting displayed. Wondering what could be the issue. Kindly help in troubleshooting.
