How to delete RECURRING PERIOD in Oracle Time &Labor EBS ?

i tried to delete recurring period in EBS OTL using HXC_RECURRING_PERIODS_API.delete_recurring_periods  but it can not be deleted , always giving error when try to delete it from database using that delete procedure did anyone try to delete it before and how you did it if you have tried that before ?
