Hello,

I would like to update  the databases of my dbhome since 11.2.0.4.171017 to 11.2.0.4.181016 (SPU).

If I use this procedure https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E89147_01/doc.122/e88751/managing-oracle-database-on-database-appliance.htm#CMTAR303 with the oakcli command: "update -patch 11.2.0.4.181016 --database", do I have to stop databases before updating?

Do databases restart automatically?
