LDAP and OID: how to configure?

Hi all ,

we plan to install a database on a separate host with business critical data. The access to the database should be possible only with LDAP. That means if a database user tries to connect to the database with SQLDelevoper this should only be possible via LDAP. How needs the ORACLE Net (listener.ora, tnsnames.ora) to be setup that a direct access to the database is no possible (e.g. with SQLPlus)?

From my understanding we need to setup OID as well - my second question is if using LDAP/OID requires a separate Licence.

Any help will be appreciated.
