Cloning vs. Adding a row to Fluid BN Open Enrollment

We started out with “cloning” a delivered Fluid OE categories and added additional steps to configure it based on our business requirements.  However, we were not able to bring our “cloned” activity guide to “Employee Self Service (ESS)”.  ESS page always showed default Open Enrollment Activity Guide (AG) and only way for us to see our cloned OE AG was through “My Activities”.  We were not able to change “Activity Guide Category” on “Set up HCM > Product Related > Automated Benefits > Processing Controls > Open Enrollment Definition” to our cloned AG ID.  Oracle documents we have found so
