Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.4 reinstall

We are running 11.1.2.4 Hyperion Planning plus patches as of mid-2017 on Windows 2008 R2 servers.

We need to move to new Windows servers and the highest support is Windows 2012 R2.

Does this sound like a doable plan?

1. perform a clean install of EPM base 11.1.2.4 (using latest 11.1.2.4.900*)

2. configuring new DB tables

3. patch the new installation to be current

4. use LCM to migrate the artifacts from 2008 environment to 2012 environment.

*The only difference is that I would start the clean install with the latest version of "Oracle Essbase Plus 11.1.2.4.0https://edelivery.oracle.com/osdc/faces/SoftwareDelivery"
