OVM 3.4.5: Migrating from VirtualDisk to PhysicalDisk

I am currently using Oracle VM for x64 Version 3.4.5 with one VM Guest on one VM Server. The VM Server has local disks visible through a hardware RAID controller presented as logical disks (RAID1).

I have configured the disks as "VirtualDisks". Now I have read in the whitepaper that PhysicalDisks are superior to VirtualDisks as Guest Disk Storage.

I am now unsure on how to migrate from VirtualDisk to PhysicalDisk and where to find more information about that.
