Adding target privileges to a group

I am trying to add a group to a new role.  I have added the group and are now trying to edit the Manage Target Privilege Grants for the group.  Rather than scrolling the list of 167 items, I was trying to filter the list to make it easier.  However to get everything I want I had to search three times.  My issue is how to retain all of the items from the three searches.

First I search on "group" to get the five "View ... Privilege Group" items.  I select those and the reset the search to "home" to get the three home page items.  However when I do this the five group items get unselected.  If I click continue at that point I only end up with the three home pages. I click the edit pencil and attempt to search on "group" and select the five items and then click continue, I end up with the five items.  I have lost the three home pages.  Is there any way to accumulate a list
