Is the File Attachment (when uploading a resume in the candidate gateway) supposed to do a file type

We are currently upgrading from Peopletools 8.55 to 8.57.

I am currently testing the internal and external candidate gateways. In the upload resume section, I've discovered the following when attaching a file:

1. When selecting "My Device" on mobile, it activated the phone's camera, allowing a picture to be taken and immediately uploaded (tested using a Nokia 7.1 with Android)

2. The File Attachment process doesn't do a file type validation, meaning it's possible to upload files like .rar, .zip, and .exe instead of just .pdf or .doc.

Are these expected behaviors? Is the "My Device" supposed to activate a phone's camera? Is there a way to disallow the activation of a phone's camera? Is the File Attachment process supposed to do a file type validation, or if not, is there a way to enable it?
