Monitoring CDB and PDB with DBSNMP common account in OEM 13.2

Hi Experts,

I created a 12.2.0.1 CDB with 1 user PDB.

I want to use OEM 13.2 to discover and monitor that CDB and PDB I just created.

I have a couple of questions regarding the DBSNMP account.

In a CDB/PDB configuration, the DBSNMP account is a common account, it exists in both CDB$ROOT and PDB.

By default, when creating CDB/PDB using DBCA, the DBSNMP account in CDB$ROOT is unlocked, but the DBSNMP account in PDB is locked.

Question 1:

Should the DBSNMP account in ALL CONTAINERS be UNLOCKED?

Question 2:

When OEM monitors CDB/PDB, which DBSNMP account does OEM uses to connect to the target?

Howdy, Stranger!
