Log file sync wait events - possible due to redo log file size increase..?

Hi

Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.6

Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 RAC

Redo files and datafiles reside in ASM diskgroup.

Redo log files are all in SSD disks. Most datafiles also are on same ASM diskgroup. Some datafiles (tablespaces with log tables) are on conventional HDD drives.

Few weeks ago I changed redo log size from 200MB -> 300MB, since before we had up to 40 log switches per hour. Now we have little bit less switches per hour.

At first I wanted to change redo log size to 400MB, but I thought I'll do this gradually.

Now, last week we have had some log file sync wait event problems, which continued this week also.
