Dependents Not Pulled In as Eligible On their 26th Birthday through the End of the Month

Hi PeopleSoft Benefits People,

Our company does not process COBRA through PeopleSoft.  To remove dependents, we have a specific event that we create to remove them from the employees' benefits. We can control when this event is created, so we can create it at the start of the following month.

If an employee has a different event that falls between the dependent's 26th  birthdate and the end of the month, the 26 year old is automatically removed as an option for coverage.  We are at PUM 26 and are using the Classic Benefits Enrollment.

I see the PeopleCode associated with this logic and it is simply computing the dependent's age as of the Coverage Begin Date for the Event.  If the dependent is not disabled and is 26 or older as of the Coverage Begin Date, it will not include that dependent as eligible to be tied in to coverage.
