P3210 - Setting the display sequence by segment rather than item for Parent/Child Configurations

We have recently moved from WORLDSOFT to E1 9.2 so I am learning the new configurator enhancements as we continue going "live". I am creating a new product structure to support Parent/Child configurations but when I am testing the setup, the display sequence for the Child configurations are appended to the Parent rather than falling into the same sequence. This is an undesirable effect for the Sales/Marketing team. I have tested with different segment number (PEL) setups and display order (DTAS) entries with no success.

Example:

Parent Item A pulls in Child Item B based on P Rules, Item B's segments fall/append to the bottom of Item A within P3210.
