Lessee Accounting Query - How to convert an existing AP Lease to generate Lease Commencement entries

Hello,

We are in the process of implementing Lessee Accounting. All the relevant ESUs are applied. We are able to create new AP leases and create Amortization schedules and generate Commencement JEs and monthly JEs.

My question is regarding the existing AP leases. We have been using AP leases to make payments to our landlords. Some of these leases starting dates are way back to 2010 and beyond. So when we try to create the Amortization Schedule for these existing leases, the commencement Journal entries will be created in the starting date i.e. 2010. Or is there a way to create the commencement JEs in the current date?
