Sites Login via LDAP, ACLs and Roles in DB

Hi,

Is it possible to configure Sites such that ACLs and Roles are maintained in Sites DB, and LDAP is only used for passwords?

That is, SystemUsers + UserPublication tables are still valid, but the password in SystemUsers is ignored.

Will an OAM or SAML integration do just that?
