HFM 11.1.2.4 Compatibility with Windows server 2008

Good Morning All,

Currently we are using HFM 11.1.2.4 on Windows server 2008. As per Oracle, 11.1.2.4 is not certified with Windows 2016. Windows 2008 will be out of support from January 1st 2020. Our organization was waiting for HFM's new version 11.2 (which is compatible with Windows 2016). 

As 11.2 release is pushed out further, I wanted some guidance on how should we maintain this application on supported platform. Is anyone else also experiencing same dilemma?
