Need to change the GL period status from 'Open' to 'Future - Entry'

Hi,

We just configured GL for an entity and opened few periods for backlog entry (but didn't perform any transaction). And we identified some issue in newly defined calendar and wanted to make the correction but unfortunately we are unable to modify the entries in 'Accounting Calendar' (due to change in period status).

Please suggest how we can change the GL period status ?
