MinMax Planning

Hi,

We need to setup MinMax planning in JDE (WS 7.3 ) with following requirements:

Objective: Set a Min-Max model based on max stock levels, trigger point and multiple order quantity.

Requirements: Trigger requirements for replenishment only when inventory is below the trigger point. Do not consider future requirements even if they are firm requirements.

Replenishing quantity: It should be the difference between the Max Stock level and the On hand in multiples of the order quantity.

Example: Min qty=reorder trigger point say 3 , max is 20  so ideally we can order 17 (20-3) but say multiple order Qty =5  so order only 15 Qty.

We are open to using either MRP or PO Generator (P43011) for generating PO with above requirements in mind. I started with using PO generator (setup item with order policy code=0,planning code=0, Reorder Point=3,maximum reorder quantity =20,multiple order quantity=5, On hand =0,reorder Qty=0). But PO generator only suggested  3 Quantity against expected 15. Realized that field Multiple order quantity doesn't work for PO generator. Please suggest how we can handle this requirement (either in MRP or using PO Generator or any workaround).

Howdy, Stranger!
