Rman recovery on Standby

We are planning on setting up a standby server environment , from a full backup taken . We had to flashback the PROD environment where we had the full backup taken  and so had to open the database in resetlogs mode . Since the incarnation of the database has changed from the time my full backup was taken  can i still recover the backup on standby. Looking for any suggestions on this if anyone has run into this scenario and how you resolved this.
